These are umbrellas designed by the Chinese artist as props for the staging of Turandot, on the occasion of his first opera direction. They are unique artistic creations made in a limited and numbered series totalling only 500 pieces. They are available in two colours, black or white, with a fiberglass metal frame (size: 23′ x 8k), rubber-coated plastic handle and 210T polyester material  with screen printing. They were manufactured in Rome in 2019 on the occasion of the staging of Turandot and designed by Ai Weiwei who is one of the most celebrated artists in the international scene.  He not only directed the opera but also designed the sets, the costumes and the videos of this new production realised for the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma.

These unique art objects are made even more special by Ai Weiwei‘s autograph signature, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity that certifies and guarantees the authenticity of the work indicated.
