GREEN PASS to attend the last performance of ‘Madama Butterfly’, 6 August

We would like to inform the members of the audience that, in compliance with the recent Legislative Decree of 23 July 2021, as of 6 August 2021 (date on which the last  performance of Madama Butterfly is scheduled), they are required to show their EU Digital COVID Certificate commonly known as Green Pass. The above provisions do not apply to children under 12 years of age and to people with specific medical conditions.

Without the COVID Certificate, it will not be possible to be admitted the performance.

Anyone who purchased tickets before the new restrictions came into force and is unable to get the required documentation to attend the show, will be able to obtain a voucher of a value equal to the price paid for tickets. They will have to return their tickets, no later than August 6, 2021, to the ticket office of the Teatro dell’Opera (opening hours: Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 9am to 1:30pm).

Please note that the EU COVID Certification , is a digital document which is also printable in a paper format with a QR code that contains essential information, as well as a digital signature to make sure the certificate is authentic.

An EU Digital COVID Certificate is a digital proof that a person has:

  • either been vaccinated against COVID-19 (in Italy this certificate is issued after the first dose and at the completion of the vaccination cycle)
  • or has been tested negative to the rapid molecular or antigenic test in the last 48 hours
  • or has recovered from COVID-19 in the last six months.

Members of the audience who wish to attend the performance will have to obtain the EU Digital COVID Certificate to show at the entrance.
